Rooted firmly in the Wiltshire countryside, Data Vision Europe Limited "DVE" creates invents and owns the intellectual property rights to a diverse range of different industrial computer devices developed for a variety of applications. The company was created to serve the industrial touch screen PC market place supplying "hardened" touch screen PC's to be used in tough mission critical environments. The company specialised in industrial control of SCADA based (energy and refrigeration) applications, back office real time control of many retail superstores throughout the UK. Also mobile touch screen computers to serve clients such as Police Force's with in-car battery powered touch computer solutions.
Utilising their industrial design skills to develop a portfolio of high reliability touch screen computer solutions for several major BlueChip and Retail companies, (References available). Currently the company is supplying and supporting public Internet access machines with kioskcard (dve's version of an internet access phonecard) credit card and or smart card payment systems for a wide variety of Internet site applications.
The company has already received accolades, in particular through appearances on Tomorrow's World (BBC), Oprah Winfrey, SKY TV, STAR TV, plus many national and international press publications. The best known product reviewed was the home shopping PC fridge, an Internet appliance media story developed to deliver Internet services and commerce in a simplistic manner for the ultimate retail location, the kitchen. In conjunction with our alliance partner ICL, we have been commissioned to build "specials" for among others Disney's Epcot Centre, Electrolux, Fridgidaire and Microsoft. The company became involved in this arena through the companies relationship with ICL in particular the historic knowledge of the control devices in the food and refrigeration industry.
